Girl Scout Troop 2203 from Long Beach held a fun event for the children recently. Each child received a pencil case that they customized with the troop members. They came out so cute! There girls wanted to do even more and purchased groceries and made self-care bags for the moms. Thank you Troop 2203!

“I feel normal” is not a proclamation most of us strive for. But for our guests, "normal" is amazing. A hot shower, a quiet place to study, a bed and blanket to call their own. Bethany House dedicates itself to providing our guests the experience of normalcy as often as possible.

Government funding allows us to do so much to provide emergency shelter for our guests- but there is so much more work to be done, and so we need your help. With the support from neighbors like you, Bethany House can continue flourishing as a space where women and children are empowered, nurtured and supported.

When Bethany House neighbors @lomic81, @rosemariet

When Bethany House neighbors @lomic81, @rosemarieturk and @rudolphk19 learned about Bethany House through friend and board member @bonniearrante, they immediately felt drawn to the mission and wanted to help.

They decided to raise money for Bethany House by hosting a Bowl-A-Thon at Maple Lanes Bowling Alley in Rockville Centre. They sprung into action, creating an appealing flyer and posting it all around the local businesses, among friends and on social media.

The event was held on Saturday, September 21st and rallied together over 60 supporters to raise more than $2,800!
